Casas da Fraga was born from a wish to share a small piece of the Serra da Estrela with those who look for calm, nature and authenticity. What started as a family home has grown into a small collection of independent stays, always keeping the welcoming character of a Portuguese country house.
Ricardo, the host, is always on hand to share his favourite tips - from the best local restaurants and hidden trails to the historic villages and traditional cheese producers - so that every guest takes home a genuine taste of the region.
